The Bremen wholesaler is expanding in the area of drive technology.
In November 2021, Hofmeister & Meincke GmbH will take over the commercial vehicle and bus spare parts business from Elbe Gelenkwellen-Service GmbH. According to the announcement, the takeover candidate has over 50 years of expertise in the areas of articulated drives and drive technology – from production to repair. The spare parts business taken over from the Bremen dealer mainly supplies the commercial vehicle and bus market in the Cologne area.
Hofmeister & Meincke GmbH, founded in 1908, has 17 locations and sells commercial vehicle and vehicle components in Germany within the Fricke Group. In 2018 company acquired the hydraulics specialist Hoppe-Truck-Hydraulik GmbH & Co.KG. With the latest purchase, the wholesaler is further rounding off its portfolio and market presence in the commercial vehicle segment, according to its own account.
Elbe Gelenkwellen-Service GmbH itself will continue to focus on its core business, the manufacture and repair of cardan shafts.
