Shareholders of AGH, an integral part of the SAG group, ranked fifth in the European aftermarket sector, have reached an agreement with AI, one of Romania’s most important independent auto parts distributors. According to the agreement, AGH acquires a majority stake in AI. As a result, AGH owns a 51% stake, while AI’s current shareholders will retain 49%. Due to this alliance, the SAG-AGH group gains two positions in the European top of spare parts distributors. AIR and AI will maintain their separate brands, operating in parallel, continuing their activity as before and addressing the same customer groups.

Both companies have been operating on the Romanian market for more than 25 years, sharing a number of common characteristics: a similar business model, the same values and a similar organizational culture. AGH and AI will continue to be top employers, both in terms of their current teams and with regard to their future employees.
