WM SE is convinced of the positive development of the international branded goods company and its future performance. MTS has so far been majority-owned by Deutsche Bahn subsidiary Schenker AG and other shareholders who contributed their shares to Deutsche Bahn in 2015 in accordance with the share purchase agreement in the merger with Intertec.

The transaction is still subject to the approval of the antitrust authorities and approval by the federal ministries and committee resolutions of Deutsche Bahn AG.

Through the purchase, joint expansions of competence in the sales and logistics network will be used to sustainably promote the positive development of the MTS Group, while the company continues to operate independently and with the usual level of service quality market acts.
