At the turn of the year, the Kaiserslautern tire wholesaler Gewe slipped under the umbrella of the Karlsruhe Pneuhage Group. This wants to continue the existing business as an independent subsidiary within the group of companies.
The Kaiserslautern-based tire wholesaler Gewe will soon be part of the Pneuhage group of companies: the takeover is expected to be completed on January 1, 2023. The two companies announced this in a joint press release on Wednesday. The antitrust approval of the deal is still missing.
Gewe GmbH is to be merged into the group as an independent and wholly owned subsidiary. For this purpose, Gewe Managing Director Achim Becker will remain active as Managing Director together with the around 45 employees at the Kaiserslautern location.
