With COVID-19 issue nowhere close to being resolved, the online events are here to stay with us for foreseeable future. Wolk after sales experts have successfully transformed Aftermarket Forum concept into Online version, gathering audience from across the globe. The latest installment of the event is fully available to watch on YouTube.
There is no escaping the COVID-era reality. It is a clear disruption of market patterns, yet after almost a year in, we all have a clearer picture of the new situation. And the pursue of the full picture as seen from a different country and regional perspectives was the objective of Aftermarket Forum Online: Into 2021. The event started with a live session of expert’s roundtable with Antti Wolk and Zoran Nikolic from Wolk after sales experts, Marcelo Gabriel from Latin America Automotive Alliance from Business (LA4B), Alexander Gruzdev from Gruzdev-Analyze, hosted by Roberto Dal Corso – the one who was the host of the last Aftermarket Forum in Frankfurt am Main back in 2019. After the live session, all the pre-recorded presentations became available to watch for everyone. In this way, all attendees can choose what is interesting for them and watch it at the time of their choice.
There were three key questions we were looking the answers for:
• It is just yet another crisis like in 2008 or are we all facing something of a new kind?
• What are the lessons learned from 2020
• What emergent trends and technologies we have observed across the globe?
With Wolk after sales experts’ Partner Network covering almost all continents, we were able to provide the answers coming from diverse countries within Europe and regions outside. From the grim reality of Latin America to optimism in the USA fueled by the government helicopter money. Sub Saharan Africa turned out to be far resilient one could expect while in India, Southeast Asia and China COVID gave the impulse to digital innovation aligned with new social distancing requirements. A unique view of the situation was presented by automotive parts manufacturer IKA-Germany – their global presence allowed us to compare how different regions reacted on like to like basis.
