The Portomotor Group is based in Narón in the province of A Coruña in northwestern Spain and comprises three companies: Portomotor SLU, Pontemotor SLU and Portomotor Santiago SL. In addition to Náron, the group operates two branches in the strategic cities of Santiago, Pontevedra, Porriño and Ourense. It also runs two workshops, which perform repairs on trucks and industrial vehicles.

Portomotor’s portfolio includes almost all products needed for professional commercial vehicle service, among those engines, clutches and transmissions, lighting, steering and suspension, brakes, exhaust systems and air conditioning. The range also includes filters, oils, greases and coolants, as well as tools. With 40 employees, the group generates an annual turnover of around 10.5 million euros. Thanks to a storage area of more than 10,000 square meters, a permanent stock of more than 100,000 references and a fleet of 20 delivery vehicles, it offers fast and reliable delivery within the main sales area of northwestern Spain while also being able to deliver the desired products anywhere on the Iberian Peninsula within 24 hours.

Spain is an extremely important market. In the last ten years, the car parc has grown by twelve percent. Today, around 29.7 million vehicles are registered here, 25.17 million of which are passenger cars. 614,000 heavy commercial vehicles require regular maintenance.
