Coventry-based Nyanza Autoparts has been acquired by Alliance Automotive UK.
Described as ‘one of Coventry’s oldest car parts and accessory suppliers’, Nyanza was formed in the 1980s by the Raichura family and expanded following the acquisition of Abbey Motor Spares. The buildings of another former factor, Clutch, Brake and Autospares, were acquired after the Finelist collapse, giving Nyanza a large, modern base to work out of.
A few days earlier Alliance Automotive Group UK has announced that it has recently completed the acquisition of Westleigh Motor Factors; an existing member of the United Aftermarket buying group.
The business is a single branch LV business based in Havant with sales of c£2.3m and 19 employees.
