About the 2018 forum

Aftermarket supply chain in change!

A recap of a past edition — the next one is the Aftermarket Forum 2027 in Cologne. The data behind it sits in the Aftermarket Intelligence Hub.

Services, spare parts, oils and many other products are the pillars of the automotive aftermarket. The growing introduction of vehicles with alternative drive technology meant some of these products would lose future market volume — raising hard questions about revenue opportunities for market participants.

Do electric, hydrogen and hybrid vehicles lead to higher spare-parts prices but falling volumes? Which new business models emerge for established players, and how will new entrants — electric-motor and battery makers, car-sharing providers, software vendors — reshape the supply chain? The forum focused exclusively on the future aftermarket, with expert contributions from across Europe.
