Autodistribution, the leading independent automotive and heavy goods spare part distributor in France, and AD Parts, the number one independent automotive spare part, lubricant, tyre, body part, paint and garage equipment distributor organisation in Spain, also present in Portugal and in Andorra, maintain close, historical links within AD International (ADI). In October 2017, the two companies strengthened their partnership on Spanish territory by acquiring a joint stake in Grup Eina Digital (a company offering training services and a technical hotline service for multi-brand workshops) and later in March 2018 by creating a joint entity, AD Parts Intergroup, for the development of joint projects.
Autodistribution, via AD Parts Intergroup, has announced that it has concluded an agreement to acquire a majority stake of 75% in AD Bosch, a distributor member of AD Parts. This project will be effective once authorisation has been given by Spanish merger authorities.
AD Bosch is a family business that was established by Josep Bosch Sayols in 1970. Thanks to its effective distribution network (27 stores) and the quality of the solutions offered to its repair customers, AD Bosch has become the leading distributor in Catalonia. In 2018, the company achieved a turnover of approximately €70 million.
Its Chairman, Josep Bosch Sayols, is also the founder and Chairman of AD Parts and the Chairman of AD Parts Intergroup.
The operational management of Bosch AD remains the same.
This project is based on a vision shared by Autodistribution and AD Parts for the independent distribution of automotive spare part business which is based on operationally excellent distribution and on the same know-how in services and solutions offered to repair shops and business customers. Autodistribution and AD Parts both operate the AD garages brand in their respective countries.
